Current job responsibilities involve providing support for cable television, internet, and phone billing and work order management software named BroadHub. Also provided support for cable television systems on NASRAC and HITS interfaces via a swivel-chair addressable system known as the Digital Service Bureau (DSB), as well as managing projects for launch of software modules for BroadHub. Most recently have been doing all BroadHub 101 training sessions for students on how to use reports, write work orders, configure packages, taxes, and services, dispatch management, and equipment configuration, as well as being certified as the Subject Matter Expert for Winforce Tech, the company’s mobile field technician software. Lastly, trained broadband service representatives on how to use BroadHub, GLDS’s billing software management suite.

Provide advanced High Speed Internet troubleshooting pertaining to connectivity. Verifying connectivity requires knowledge of network status, understanding of TCP/IP settings and configurations, and an understanding of company network infrastructure. Also performed Network Security functions informing customers of security compromises and copyright infringement. Also provide advanced troubleshooting of email through supported email clients and company provided web based email.

Assisted customers in troubleshooting cable television and internet signal issues, email configuration and delivery issues, as well as basic internet account setup. This position also called for scheduling field technician appointments for upgrades as well as connectivity issues with cabling and hardware; also provided customers with product knowledge and recommendations for their internet and cable television needs.

Assist customers in bill review and explanation of service charges. Also placed orders for cable television, internet, and phone equipment to be drop shipped to customers, as well as scheduling appointments for installation and upgrades of service.
