I am a highly experienced education leader with demonstrated success in leading complex educational teams, including learning and teaching, school improvement, ICT, knowledge management and school operations. As Deputy Executive Director and Executive Learning I have responsibility for Learning Services within BCE, comprising 146 schools, 76,000 students and 9,500 staff. The Directorate of Learning Services is responsible for ensuring effective governance, strategic planning, reporting and effective budgeting and performance accountabilities and processes are in place to support religious education, system learning growth, school improvement processes, curriculum development, student engagement and well-being. The DED reports directly to the Executive Director deputising for the Executive Director during any absences.

As Director Financial, Corporate and ICT Services and member of the Sydney Catholic School’s Leadership Team I was responsible through the Executive Director for the leadership, governance and strategic operation of finance, school facilities, staffing, corporate services, ICT and eLearning.

As Director Knowledge Management, eLearning and ICT Services and member of the Sydney Catholic Schools Leadership Team, I was responsible through the Executive Director for the leadership, governance and strategic operation of Knowledge management, ICT and eLearning in Sydney Catholic Schools.

As EREA Regional Administrator of the Eastern Region (NSW and ACT) and member of the EREA National Leadership Team I was directly responsible for 12 Colleges, schools and flexible education centres with enrolment in excess of 10,500. Central to the role was the leadership provided to all schools with strategic planning, budgeting and resourcing; support, recruitment and performance management of school leaders; formation of staff, in particular the nurturing of the Catholic Identity within each school with a strong connection to the Edmund Rice charism; leadership of formal school Catholic Identity reviews; and leadership with serious issue and critical incidents.
