Doug is a Senior Partner and member of Roland Berger's North American management team. He has significant consulting experience providing expertise in the areas of business transformation, performance improvement, global operational excellence, corporate strategy, innovation development, supply chain management and leadership alignment across a range of industries, including industrials, manufacturing and consumer products. Prior to joining Roland Berger, Doug was a senior partner at Deloitte and led the relationship for one of the firm’s most significant global clients, as well as served as a leadership partner on several of its strategic clients. Doug held several leadership roles including serving as the Vice Chairman and Managing Principal of its U.S. Consumer and Industrial Products practice. In this national role, he led Deloitte’s efforts across a range of industry sectors, including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, retail, consumer products, travel and hospitality. Prior to this role, Doug was the Regional Managing Principal for Deloitte’s Strategic Relationship organization focused on building relationships with the firm’s largest clients. Previously he was Deloitte Consulting's Midwest Strategy & Operations Consulting Leader and Deloitte’s Global Supply Chain Strategy Leader. Doug’s nearly thirty years of management consulting experience are reinforced with eight years of industry experience. Doug is passionate about working with clients and teams. He is recognized for his authentic leadership style, creating value for clients, developing high performing teams, and demonstrating his deep industry expertise throughout his career.Doug understands the impact of engaging in the community and provides support to many non-profit organizations including serving on the Northwestern Memorial Foundation Board of Directors. He served two terms as a trustee for Chicago Symphony Orchestra and was a Founding Member of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Business Council, He previously served on the American Red Cross Central Illinois Chapter Board of Directors. Doug earned a B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University, studied at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and earned an M.B.A. from Clemson University.
