Experience in software release upgrades, advising on software and hardware system recommendations, system performance tuning, software systems design and implementation, as well as daily operations. Applications include accounting systems, payroll and industry specific systems such as order entry, ADT, medical records, patient accounting, pharmacy and clinics. RPG/400 on AS/400, with multiple PC networks.

Consult, advise and develop software to assist in mergers of 6 companies forming 2 new companies using Crestland software. Work with department heads to develop new systems and modify existing software to help the new companies gain competitive advantage. RPG/400 on AS/400.

Responsible for IS department that grew from one to five people. Initiated and active in marketing of software to other companies resulting in over $750,000 income in 5 years. Experienced in hardware sizing and pricing, operating system installations, hardware and software conversions, communications, customer sales, training and support. Lead a team responsible for software system design, implementation, maintenance, training and enhancement. Applications include accounting systems, payroll, sales analysis and industry specific systems such as grain accounting, agronomy and equity. System 36 using RPG II/III converted to AS/400 using RPG/400.

Responsible for system design and implementation. Considerable accounting experience with A/R, A/P, G/L, sales analysis and forecasting, fixed assets, order entry, purchasing and payroll. Manufacturing applications include machine production, scrap and efficiency, production analysis and use of IPICS material costing. Management of all computer staff. RPG II on System 34, with Series/1 for payroll time card collection.
