I am currently working on developing an Indirect Sourcing team as well as maturing our Sourcing Analytics team.

Managed global commodity sourcing of raw materials including copper, brass, aluminum, zinc, steel, stainless steel, as well as magnet wire, machined turned parts, castings, and stampings. * As Interim Director of Supply Chain, Asia (14 months), led team of five commodity managers and three supplier quality engineers in Shanghai, China and positioned China plant for sale.* Improved cost of casting quality by 22%.* Developed and executed global forward buy strategy and process which minimized impact of inflation.

Directed global sourcing for industrial freezing lines that accounted for 50% of Food Services & Solutions Division’s total sales worldwide.

Drove cost reductions through procurement strategies as one of three sourcing leaders. Trained and coached five U.S. and three European sites in strategic sourcing initiatives.

Recruited to assist in the operational turnaround and integration of 6 hydraulic distributors by regionalizing purchasing and distribution centers, standardizing procurement processes, assisting in the implementation of a new ERP system, and assisting in the redesign of process flow from receipt of customer order to receipt of payment. Worked directly with troubled customers in an effort to retain their business.

Responsible for multi-site coordination of $20 million to $30 million of annual spend. Drove $4M+ in cost reductions and aligned supplier quality system with ISO9000
