Managed plant manufacturing operations and directed productive team of six department managers and supply chain personnel for leading manufacturer of coating, labelling, and laminating solutions for customers in diverse industries. Orchestrated 24/7 production operations, environmental management, customer relationships, vendor relationships, and quality control while ensuring compliance to continuous improvement processes and ISO 9001:2008 standards. Managed implementation of lean manufacturing methods, including 5S, Kaizen, and process maps and by continually monitoring team performance for output. Developed and facilitated in-depth technical training to optimize quality ratings, improve teamwork, and resolve issues.• Held accountability for $12M account, producing adhesive coated labels for beverage, personal care, and consumer markets.• Reduced process waste production by 3% and generated 10% reduction in volume to landfill by collaborating with teams to develop standard for startup procedures; used aged materials while in startup, cutting raw material costs.• Increased production line speed feet per minute (FPM), raising productivity rates by 25% and grew capacity for products able to run on 9% faster line speed while maintaining quality.• Relocated plant to manufacturing facility in Southeastern U.S. Met goals to open plant on times, resuming production three months ahead of schedule.
