We are based at Tofthill Farm, Glencarse Perth and are a leading grower, packer and distributor of fresh produce.Prior to this I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Saffery Champness in 2001, where I progressed to Senior Manager and then moved onto Johnston Carmichael LLP where I was Head of Landed Estates. In December 2014 I moved my career into industry and joined the Board of Stewarts of Tayside Ltd.My professional career in practice was spent advising private clients and owner managed businesses on all aspects of their accounting, audit and taxation affairs across a wide range of sectors. My particular specialism and expertise is in rural businesses and the food & drink sector. Away from the office I have an agricultural background and I am a Partner in the family farming enterprise which comprises 500 acres of arable land all of which is farmed in-hand. This background provides me with a detailed understanding of the operational and financial issues that rural businesses face to add to the sector knowledge I have gained throughout my career.
