Mainline has given me a wonderful opportunity to work with a diverse customer base in New Mexico and West Texas. Currently I am working as a technical account executive, due to the remoteness of the sales territory, I fit somewhere between a product specialist and account executive. For the past 7 to 10 years I have maintained sales of 12 million or more for Mainline in the territory. Mainline's area of success has been in complex computing and storage solutions, AIX/UNIX, OS400, VMware, Linux, SANs and Storage. We worked with a large hospital in New Mexico to grow their SAN storage from 4 TBs to well over 1.4 PBTs. Servers from a few 100 to over 1800 servers before going to VMware. Working with Mainline we implemented VMware, Citrix Servers both IBM and HP bladecenters.Some major success stories are:Presbyterian Healthcare Solutions: Designed and Implemented the new EPIC system for physician and patient health care. The design that was proposed eliminated any single points of failure, including the storage. We used a combination of SVC, DS8800 and AIX 750's to accomplish our goals. To receive the green light from EPIC, PHS was required to meet 4500 EPIC IOPs. When the testing was complete we had achieved over 10,000 IOPS with negligible desegregation in performance. State of New Mexico NMDoITMainline has been working with the State of New Mexico to modernize the z114 mainframe, taking the state to current supported levels of the operating system and DB2. The project was to upgrade the current zSeries and storage, replacing the STK tape and disk storage. Mainline's marketing and support team in cooperation with personnel from the state has made the "Modernization Project" a show case at the state. The project has been referenced by the state CIO as an example of a successful way to modernize an enterprise application.
