Doug has had his Ohio Real Estate Brokers license since 1982. He also is a licensed Broker in the State of Kentucky. Columbus native Borror is known for his strong entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of the Central Ohio real estate market. He has a history of successful business start-ups, including growing Dominion Homes from a $20 million dollar privately held business to a $600 million dollar publicly held company. He also has vast experience in residential construction and apartment management. He has worked closely with marketers, architects, and contractors to develop home and community designs that appeal to a wide range of target audiences. After selling Dominion Homes in 2008, he founded Borror Properties with Lori Steiner. The company was started with the mission of providing real estate property management services and acquiring, finishing, and selling residential real estate projects. In 2009, they added Peak Property Management which manages homeowner and condominium associations, primarily in Central Ohio. Expansion continued through 2010 and 2011, and in January 2012 the company added the Truberry Custom Homes brand to its portfolio. In March of 2012, Borror Properties expanded its brokerage into Commercial Real Estate with the addition of three seasoned commercial real estate agents.
