Worked hand in hand with the development team to integrate into a custom deployment solution leveraging Ansible, Jenkins, and BitBucket. Heavily utilized a programming background to develop scripts in PowerShell and Bash to automate server build-out, administration, and maintenance significantly reducing touch time and eliminating any inconsistencies across the platform.Worked directly with development teams to build out and deploy some of the very first Docker and Kubernetes applications at ADP. Maintained and upgraded an IIS-based web cluster running on ESXi with SQL database backend to provide benefits selection tools.Administered Exchange and third-party email relay servers to perform bulk emailing while ensuring MX record health to prevent any blacklisting from occurring.

Maintain current network equipment while moving forward to provide a better solution Technical lead implementing a virtual environment using VMWare. 80% of the physical servers were successfully migrated to a virtual solution (SQL, Exchange, Fileservers, Etc). Deployed a disaster recovery environment that gave the end user 100% functionality even in a disaster scenario. Utilized Equallogic SAN replication across a fiber MAN connection with a skeleton VMWare cluster hosted within a remote datacenter. Revitalized the layout for Active Directory that conveyed logical organization for better security and faster more simplified administration across the entire forest level containing multiple sub domains located at remote offices. Performed a successful migration from Symantec Backup Exec 11d to Microsoft Data Protection Manager utilizing a much faster disk to disk backup solution while cutting down our tape usage by 80% and reducing our window of data loss to an hourly window instead of daily. Developed a mobility strategy allowing end users to work remotely while having access to every technology resource they would have within the office. The systems include RD Web Access, Cisco VPN, Blackberry Enterprise Server, OWA/Outlook Anywhere, and Laptop Replication Policies.

Single source of support for 100 internal end users and over 500 external users Repaired, organized, documented and maintained a Citrix PS 4.5 farm consisting of 5 Presentation Servers with a Gateway server providing load balancing and connection brokerage. Restructured and replaced the network equipment to provide a faster, more secure and redundant connection using two ASA 5510 firewalls running high availability, 3750 Gigabit core server switches, and 2960 Power over Ethernet switches for the end user. Reduced the daily calls to the helpdesk by 75% within the first 6 months by taking a more proactive approach using group policies, logon scripts, and mass registry edits to prevent reoccurring problems.
