I have almost 20 years of experience in the green industry, from golf course maintenance, landscape installation and maintenance, plant health and lawn care, as well as developing plant health and lawn care programs for large commercial and residential properties. I started on the bottom raking bunkers at The Robert Trent Jones Course at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, SC and have continued my career at The Shipyard in HHI, The Golf Club at Indigo Run and spent almost 5 years as the 2nd Assistant Superintendent at Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the PGA Heritage Tournament. I also spent a year at Pebble Beach Golf Links near Carmel, CA as a U.S. Open intern for the 2010 U.S. Open. All together I have been apart of preparing for and maintaining courses for over 25 PGA tournaments. I then transitioned into landscaping and spent the last 7 years in all areas of landscaping including commercial maintenance, landscape installations for commercial and residential properties, as well as plant health and lawn care. I built the plant health care program as well as the lawn program for major landscape companies, with a primary focus in protecting our environment and finding new solutions to lessen the impact of harsh chemicals and reduced applications. I am now using these skills into the tree care part of the industry, while still being heavily involved in plant and lawn health care.
