Selected by Nibbi Brother partners to create a new structural concrete division, Nibbi Concrete, to perform concrete work for both Nibbi and other general contractors.Marketed the new division to general contractors and construction managers. Created promotional and branding materials. Arranged introductory meetings with prospective clients to launch the Division and communicate its’ abilities. Secured several new clients, including Bovis, Rudolph & Sletten, Amoroso, McCarthy and Hunt. Researched, analyzed and provided recommendations to partners regarding bid opportunities to pursue. Responsible for assembling bids; perform quantity surveys, analyze all labor and material budgets; solicit subcontractor and vendor bids. Negotiated subcontractor pricing during the bid process; negotiated material purchases for both individual projects and overall division requirements. Managed project labor and material costs, monitored manpower, resolved scope issues, created and managed schedules. Developed new production reporting system; organized weekly production meetings with field managers to track and analyze production. Managed and forecasted annual budgets for both overhead and warehouse costs; tracked annual volume and profit projections.Responsible for all staffing requirements for both field and office personnel; created policies and procedures for quality control and quantity measuring and reporting. Conducted annual reviews; provided recommendations regarding promotions, raises, and project assignments. Participated in job candidate interview panels at both Nibbi Concrete and Nibbi Brothers GC.Created and chaired the Nibbi Green Committee to advance Nibbi’s commitment to green building and to ensure both Nibbi Concrete and Nibbi GC utilize best environmental practices. Solicited members, developed mission statement, tracked accomplishments and set committee direction.

Started as an on-site project engineer coordinating rebar shop drawings, setting up concrete pours as well as submitting timecards. Promoted to Assistant Project Manager to work on several concurrent projects under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, moved into a junior estimator position performing quantity surveys and soliciting subcontractor and vendor pricing.
