As a National Account Manager, I assume direct responsibility for leading the development of a new Commercial Strategy for National Feedlot and Pastoral businesses by assessing market dynamics and environment. I leverage the full Elanco portfolio to drive mutual outcomes for Feedlot and Pastoral customers with discipline ensuring margin expectations are adhered to. I also lead Elanco teams and leverage capabilities to deliver customer focused beyond product value attached to a commercial outcome for Elanco. Integral to the success of this role, I manage sales budgets, sales forecasting and margin analysis across multiple brands to ensure consistent supply to customers. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement marketing activity, product services and technical data reporting to deliver innovative customer solutions and excellence to new and existing customers.

It was my duty as a National Account Manager (Veterinary) to assume direct responsibility for developing and progressing long term partnerships with National Strategic Accounts while strategically planning and focusing on mutual businesses to identify, manage and execute on mutually beneficial objectives. I coordinated and led a cross-species team within a National Strategic Account to deliver sales growth and non-product customer value; experienced in harvesting and analysing multiple data sets to lead/shape Commercial Ruminant Strategy. I also administered high level contract negotiation and proactively sought out and drove business development opportunities by fostering and utilising networks.

My role as a Territory Manager (Dairy) was to assume direct responsibility for executing on joint business objectives with key dairy accounts to deliver annual sales targets. I utilised on farm Health and Nutritional data sets to demonstrate health, welfare and productivity improvement, whilst leveragng key decision maker relationships to successfully launch two new dairy innovations.

I assumed direct responsibility for understanding, developing and implementing efficiencies across all stages of the production process. I provided mentoring and training to staff to encourage high productivity and foster a strong safety culture while upholding the organisation’s core values and culture. I also undertook research, analysis and reporting, identifying trends and root cause analysis to ascertain areas of potential non-compliance linking into the legislative and regulatory requirements. In addition, I fostered a positive safety environment and ensured that all activities being planned and scheduled adhered to the highest safety standard. I also championed quality, compliance and process/production improvement initiatives, facilitating change as necessary while clearly articulating issue and context to staff and production management.

While working as a Station Hand, I performed general station hand responsibilities and duties with detailed experience of cattle handling, disease prevention and beef production from calving through weaning, finishing and slaughter. I handled and worked with livestock in a calm and efficient manner while demonstrating competent general animal husbandry skills, monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns. I also assisted in the general activities associated with mustering and cattle marking operations while preparing and maintaining all stock husbandry equipment, including feeding livestock, mustering and moving livestock.Furthermore, I cleaned and performed (minor) service of water troughs while identifying weeds and removing, or informing management of their location, including carrying out visual checks on bores, troughs, pipelines, fences and so forth. I also carried out basic repair and general maintenance of plant and equipment while performing daily routine checks, adjustments and maintenance of station vehicles as well as managed and maintained all fences for the control of livestock.
