Currently a Firearms Instructor at the Training Bureau, Worked Patrol from April 1986 to October 1991, From 1991 to 1993 worked S.C.A.T ( Street Crime Attack Team ) . This was a plain clothes assignment attached to Patrol . We worked street level Prostitution and Natcotics . This was also the the the test bed for what is now called SRB Bureau. From 1994 to 2008 I worked the Narcotics Bureau . 1994 to 1998 I worked the In/Tac unit, In/Tac is the short for Investigative / Tatical Entry Team . During my time with the In/Tac team , I made direct buys and controlled buys of various Narcotics. Wrote the Search Warrants and then executed the Search Warrants based on the buys just made. Making the tatical entries based on other Officer's Warrants , as well as my own , I participated in close to (2000) two thousand missions . In 1998 I transfered to the Long Term Investigative Units . While there I participated in three Federal Wire Tap cases , in conjunction with the DEA . These are called , Title 3 cases , aka T-3 cases .Also doing Undercover work on one of the T-3 cases .We also generated our own State of Ohio v , cases , before, after and during the T-3 cases . During the time that I worked in the Narcotics Bureau , I made close to (1500 ) one thousand five hundred controlled / direct buys , as well as writing and executing over ( 400) four hundred Search Warrants . In 2008 , I transerfered to the Training Bureau as a Firearms Instructor . Once in the Training Bureau I was trained and certified by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission and The Office of the Attorney General to instruct in the following areas ; 1) Revolver 2) Simiauto Pistol 3) Shotgun 4) Colt M16 and AR15 Armorer 5) Investigation Evidence Collection Techniques 6) Investigation Ohio Drug Laws 7) Investigation Confidential Informants 8) Investigation Surveilliance 9) Investigation Interview & Interrogation Techniques 10) Investigation Search Warrants
