Agrica run a 5,000 ha rice plantation in the Kilombero region of Central Tanzania. The contracts were negotiated with Petrobras and YPFB. I also signed these contracts on behalf of GTB in the presence of the Bolivian President.

Shell Gas Direct is the Shell company that sells gas to UK power station, industrial and commercial customers while Shell Power (of which I was a director) sells electricity to industrial and commercial customers. Key achievements in this role were the successful establishment of a gas and electricity trading department.

Managed all commercial aspects of the Shearwater (Shell operated) and the Elgin/Franklin (Elf operated) North Sea oil and gas development projects, with particular reference to achieving shared gas and oil evacuation. Capital expenditure amounted to about £2.5 billion of which £500 million was the Shell Share. In addition over 77 complex commercial agreements were required to commercialize these projects.
