Doug is a Captain in the Royal Australian Navy, serving continuously since joining the Australian Defence Academy in 1989.He has served extensively in operational staff and Command positions at sea and ashore, and represented the organisation internationally on exchange with the Royal Navy and operationally on NATO staff's and in Multi-National Headquarters, and in military diplomatic appointments.
