As the Program Architect for the Medical University of South Carolina's Department of Surgery's Innovation Lab, I am leading the development of a program aimed at evaluating the specific needs of MedTech startups. My role involves providing these companies with strategic guidance and access to resources that will set them up for success in the competitive marketplace.

With a team of dedicated stakeholders I create unique tech events with the overarching mission of turning Charleston SC into a tech, entrepreneurship and creative hub.I connect networks that don't traditionally work together around shared goals.

I provide product development, consulting and design services to high-profile clients across the technology, luxury, and fashion industries. As part of my role, I collaborate with senior executives to brainstorm and create innovative designs and prototypes, establish project timelines and objectives, and oversee project execution by working closely with international vendors.Throughout my career, I've successfully managed complex supply chain logistics, design elements, and material selection for the fashion, watch and wearable technology categories. Additionally, I led the end-to-end design and development of a wristwatch while connecting and serving as a liaison between a low-speed vehicle startup, transportation design resources and venture capital to facilitate the analysis of design and funding.

One of the world's premier brands, Movado Group, Inc. designs, sources, and distributes MOVADO®, MVMT®, OLIVIA BURTON®, EBEL®, CONCORD®, COACH®, TOMMY HILFIGER®, HUGO BOSS®, LACOSTE®, SCUDERIA FERRARI®, REBECCA MINKOFF® and URI MINKOFF® watches worldwide, and operates Movado company stores in the United States.I was promoted to lead teams of designers and designed and managed products for clients including Google, HP, and Qualcomm. We developed design strategies for product teams to gain consensus among client stakeholders to drive brand decisions.In partnership with the Movado executive team I created the job description and responsibilities for my special projects role. Overall, I launched 47 wearable technology skus across 7 brands. We also had a large design project with 4 different brand partners internationally but were able to facilitate consensus for a successful product launch.In addition to my team management, I had instances where I needed to step in and manage vendor projects. I created a successful UI and framework to support one of our technology partners.

As Senior Designer I designed successful watch and jewelry collections for fashion and luxury brands including Ferrari, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, and Coach.Across all products I developed we generated over $300 million in revenue. I started with 1 project and 1 brand in my portfolio and grew it to 5. I also played a key role in landing an ongoing licensing agreement with Ferrari with my proposal to design their launch collection.

I came to Movado and partnered with leadership teams and client stakeholders to develop watches and jewelry products.I was the 1st US-based designer and I developed design systems and protocols that would go on to become a thriving design department with 20+ creative professionals. I also designed and developed the Tommy Hilfiger watch collection and supported the successful relaunch of the brand which led to being named “Employee of the Year.”

TIFFANY & CO. has become synonymous with elegance, innovative design, fine craftsmanship and creative excellence.I joined Tiffany as a Design Coordinator in 1999 and was promoted to a Junior Designer in 2000. I was trained by Tiffany’s Senior Designer and designed the successful “Gatelink” collection of men’s jewelry.
