Reporting to the C.F.O with responsibility for the Finance department encompassing Payroll, Accounts Payable, General and Cost Accounting, and Inventory Control.  Direct the plant’s financial operations and assisted management team in improving plant costs through effective budgeting, strategic planning and analysis. Led and directed the preparation and presentation of annual budgets and quantitative standards.  Developed monthly financial Outlooks. Directed the reporting and analysis of the plants financial performance on a monthly basis, and controlled the accurate inventory records for all plant inventories. Provided leadership and direction in investigating and understanding all major manufacturing variances to ensure timely, actionable information to management. Executed and maintained control procedures to ensure the integrity of plant financial records and safeguarding of plant assets in accordance with Law 262 compliance. This includes regular testing and reviews to ensure proper goods receipts, finished goods shipments, production reporting, cash management, account reconciliations, material obsolescence, inventory and fixed asset accounting. Reviewed capital projects for compliance with Corporate Capital Control Policies and for adequate clarity of justification, consistent with the facility’s planned direction for investment of capital resources. Communicated with the internal and external auditors during regular scheduled audits.

Reported to the Plant Manager with responsibility for the Finance and Materials Control departments encompassing Payroll, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, General and Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Production Planning and Distribution. Directed the plant’s financial operations and assisted management team in improving plant costs through effective budgeting, strategic planning and analysis. Led and directed the preparation and presentation of annual budgets ($59 Million) and quantitative standards.  Developed monthly financial Outlooks. Directed the reporting and analysis of the plants financial performance on a monthly basis, and controlled the accurate inventory records for all plant inventories. Provided leadership and direction in investigating and understanding all major manufacturing variances to ensure timely, actionable information to management. Executed and maintained control procedures to ensure the integrity of plant financial records and safeguarding of plant assets in accordance with Sarbanes – Oxley compliance. This included regular testing and reviews to ensure proper goods receipts, finished goods shipments, production reporting, cash management, account reconciliations, material obsolescence, inventory and fixed asset accounting. Reviewed capital projects for compliance with Corporate Capital Control Policies and for adequate clarity of justification, consistent with the facility’s planned direction for investment of capital resources. Provided overall direction and leadership to the Material planning and control function. Responsible for managing plant production scheduling, materials requirements planning, warehouse receiving, shipping, and maintenance of logistics systems to support these functions. Communicated with the internal and external auditors during regular scheduled audits.

Reported to the Controller. Responsible for the effective supervision of the Accounting and Accounts Payable function, management of the Visitors Centre and development of new product costs.
