Joined Petrofac in 2009 as a senior member of the Plant Asset Management team providing maintenance and reliability consulting services for petrochemical and upstream oil & gas industries. This involves reviewing asset performance, identifying improvement opportunities, conducting integrity management reviews, developing equipment specific maintenance strategies and work processes. Developed and implemented a work process for a management system for maintenance and mechanical integrity, organized a framework for operation and asset management, lead the reliability centered maintenance review of several greenfield capital projects. *Chevron required development of an Asset Management program for the Wheatstone LNG plant during the design and construction phase, assisted in developing a work process to analyze 35 process units using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology, evaluated the equipment criticality and developed equipment maintenance strategies using the RCM methodology integrating Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) methodologies.*Following an OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) of the TPC Group Chemical facility, led a project team to perform a gap analysis, identified 68 improvement opportunities and developed a Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity program to improve compliance and asset management.•Occidental Petroleum recognized the work process for integrating new assets into the company was inadequate. Reviewed Canadian Heavy Oil projects and determined the applicability of technologies based on reservoir parameters.Conducted technology monitoring, competitor assessments and supplier/vendor analysis of key areas of importance for long-term Oil Shale and Heavy Oil development. Mapped the applicability of different in-situ recovery methods employed in recovery of heavy oil for defining the commercial development strategy.

*Shell Oil Products rolled out a Global Maintenance Excellence initiative to strategically align asset management. As part of this initiative, I led the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) review of: 1) Criterion Catalyst Manufacturing assets located in the US, Canada, and Germany (2) Shell refining assets in Canada (3) Shell E&P Auger Platform (4) Shell Oil Products Refining assets in the US (5) Shell Chemical manufacturing sites in Louisiana and (6) the Shell Wind Energy Wind Farms. The result of the RCM reviews was a suite of global maintenance strategies tailored to each facility that improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the facility by over 10 percent.*Developed guidelines for operation and maintenance of refining and pipeline storage tanks. Aligned performance benchmarking in the area of refinery capacity utilization for Shell. Developed a work process for reviewing the management of operations, maintenance, and inspection of aboveground storage tank assets.*The Shell Oil South African Petroleum Refinery (SAPREF) requested a review of the reliability program to establish the sufficiency of resources and management processes. I led a team comprised of reliability professionals to review the SAPREF facilities and developed an action plan of 5 key actions addressing 34 recommendations.
