I am involved with selecting strategic investments and cultivating the investments for an income stream or turnaround and resale.

I am involved with strategic engineering consulting following a long year career dealing with natural resources related projects. My experience includes groundwater and surface water, indigenous and landfill gas, agriculture, mining, environmental remediation and landfill development projects using advanced technologies including geophysics, LiDAR and spectral remote sensing, field instrumentation, project design and commissioning and expert testimony.

I managed staff and project consulting activities for a group of up to fourteen professional staff generating about $2 to 3 million in annual sales. Most projects were focused on environmental remediation and restoration. I also executed consulting services for Carbon Sequestration and Storage projects for several US utilities and power generation plants. Additionally, I managed projects for innovative geothermal exchange development projects. Other sustainable and strategic consulting included biochar, waste residuals reclamation and reuse, landfill development and hydrogeology.

I taught a civil engineering graduate course in landfill development, design and operation focusing on innovative geotechnical engineering design practices with landfill liners and leachate collection systems, landfill gas collection systems, final covers, geosynthetics, storm water management and landfill closure and long term care practices. Landfill remediation and many associated case histories were included in the course syllabus.

I started as an assistant engineer and progressed to manage staff and project consulting activities for a group of up to eighty (80) professional staff generating about $15 million in annual sales. Many projects were focused on environmental due diligence for real estate transactions and environmental remediation and restoration. Landfill development and design was also a large area of practice and included some of the largest US landfills. Other project consulting activities addressed waste residuals reclamation and reuse, hydrogeology and geophysics/remote sensing. The practice spanned most states east of the Mississippi River plus Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. I was professionally licensed in six (6) states including Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Jersey to support the design practice activities. I also provided expert advice and testimony on a vast range of legal cases including engineering malpractice.
