Coordinates with the Army Staff to orchestrate and establish the priorities for developing, fielding, and funding all Army rotary wing, fixed wing, and associated aircraft enablers.• Facilitated the successful requirements and milestone approval for the following programs: Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Joint Urgent Operation Need, Aircraft Threat Detection System (ATDS), Future Vertical Lift (CAPSET 3) MDD, Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP), Common Infrared Countermeasures (CIRCM), and Future Fixed Wing Utility Aircraft (FUA). • Served as a Co-chair, Joint Council of Colonels, for the Future Vertical Lift Program. Assisted in effort endorsed by the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) that will ultimately field the next generation of helicopters for all of the Department of Defense.• Routinely interface with Aviation Project Managers, TRADOC Capability Managers, Army Staff, Joint Staff, OSD Staff, and Congressional PSMs.

Hqda G4 Aviation

Strategic manager for aviation readiness, logistics plans, policies, budget support of Army programs related to sustainment maintenance, and divestment of aviation weapons systems and support equipment. • Led the team responsible for the OH-58 A/C, OH-58D, and TH-67s divestment plan to include storage and Demilitarization as a result of the Army Aviation Restructure Initiative. • Developed the Aviation force reduction plan for Afghanistan which ensured forces had adequate aviation coverage throughout drawdown operations. Additionally ensured aviation forces had sufficient contract maintenance as forces reduced.

Fort Hood Texas

Commanding Officer for an aviation battalion task force for 32 months to include two combat deployments. Responsible for the welfare and safety of over 840 individuals and logistics support to the Brigades four other task forces of over 3200 individuals split based in four separate locations. • Contract Officer Representative overseeing the contracted aviation support for Northern Afghanistan which assisted with parts and personnel movement. • Led the organization providing maintenance support to over 100 aircraft which resulted in the Brigade achieving over 68,000 flight hours of mission support throughout Iraq.

Yongsan, Korea

Senior aviation advisor for the leadership on transformation issues, resourcing, training, and employment of US aviation assets into the Korean theater of operations. • Successfully facilitated the transfer of control to the Korean Staff elements to manage the employment of Korean and US aviation operations during times of conflict. Conducted combined training sessions between Korean an US staff officers to coach and mentor the Korean officers on how to employ forces in the event of conflict.

Camp Humphreys, Korea

Director for scheduling, managing, and resourcing the training of an Aviation Brigade consisting of over 2900 individuals, 115 Aircraft and over 600 vehicles.• Orchestrated and resourced the first training event in the history of the Brigade which focused solely on the organizations conflict missions. This allowed the Brigade to effectively train on its actual mission it would see in times of conflict. • Planned and managed a joint live fire operation which combined US aviation forces, Korean Aviation, Korean Armor, US Artillery, and Air Force assets resulting in one of the largest and most complex live fire exercises on the Korean peninsula.

Camp Humphreys, Korea

Senior manager for the staff coordination and guidance in the planning and execution of day to day operations. Managed the air and ground budgets totaling in excess of $11 million dollars along with the ground maintenance program of over 97 vehicles, 24 aircraft and associated equipment. • Led the organization to the highest unit inspection score in Korea in 2006.• Managed the battalion maintenance resulting in the highest operational readiness rate in the Brigade.

Responsible for conducting detailed mission analysis, planning, and orders production for an Aviation organization of over 3200 soldiers and 115 aircraft for rapid transition to hostilities on the Korean peninsula. • Authored the first Operations Plan in Korea for a single Aviation Brigade combining all the previous missions of three aviation brigades and tailoring them for one while refining new operational chains of command.

Senior aviation manager responsible for ensuring aviation maintenance policies and procedures are in place to support over one thousand aircraft supporting operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. • Contract Officer Representative overseeing the over $200 million dollar aviation maintenance contract which provided over 640 individuals to aviation assets within the three theaters.
