Revisiting my career and planning for future opportunities.

As support for the technical services and sales team, I aided in defining and configuring responses to solve customer problems and define new solutions and procedures. Other aspects of my role include coordination of technical resources and schedules to meet customer expectations and needs including project coordination and documentation. When required project management services were a part of my daily efforts. My role as project coordination included: the generation of scope / project descriptions; project task lists and schedules; working with the technical staff to track tasks and detail customer status / time reports. Most of our customer service request efforts were short term allowing us to reduce the complexity and simplify the project management structures to meet specific customer requirements. I supplied customers with required content for their internal processes as well as status, issue tracking and information updates.Other functions include: supporting the time reporting, tracking, MS Excel spreadsheets and billing data collection for the corporation based on internally generated time spreadsheets and processes. This included weekly, monthly and year end reporting.

As technical team lead, I coordinated contractor teams and their project involvement. Project work included SAP, network redesign, wireless implementation, telecom migration, facilities moves and operational upgrades. Other job functions included participation in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of the workload and tasks for both project and day to day operational functions concerning Storage, UNIX and Networking. On behalf of the team, I participated in the development of processes and procedures to improve change and operational methodologies and response to customers. Responsible for managing the Network, UNIX and Storage external teams including vendor relationships, personnel planning/scheduling, input to budgetary usage and definition, directional planning and design. Architected solutions in response to business project and day to day needs.

Managed, defined, planned, scheduled and executed multiple Vulnerability Security Assessments / Projects assessing and securing customer environments. Increasing and developing new sales documentation to aid in selling the VSA product. Administered multiple systems, network and security appliances aiding customers in the day to day support of their IT systems as well as resolving issues and liaising with vendors.

As a senior UNIX,Storage and Security resource I was contracted out ot act as a system, storage, security administrator support Solaris, NetApp and Checkpoint systems

Managed external and internal resources as well as projects supporting corporate development and ongoing systems support.
