Founded the first certified Gongkwon Yusul academy in the United States owned by a non-Korean instructor. Taught students of all ages from 3 years old to adult. Responsible for all technical aspects of avionic displays, custom systems, and rugged computer sales and proposal efforts. Helped transition projects from sales to engineering and ultimately production and service. In charge of all US avionics and military demo inventory. Worked for the product managers of console and rugged computing to assist sales and marketing efforts in US military market. Gathered requirements, suggested product and configuration, and answered any technical questions in the sales process. Supported sales, marketing, and tradeshow efforts with procurement and setup of demo assets. Key Achievements• Transitioned several existing customers from dumb displays to integrated smart displays leading to overall program cost savings for the customer and increased profit for my company. • Worked with a key account and internal engineering to define and develop 2nd and 3rd generation of standard product for worldwide sales. • Helped transition design and production of 2 major product lines from Toulouse, France to Duluth, Georgia for US military contracts.

Board and component level repair of graphics cards, graphics engines, and video processing/distribution products for US military market. Built and maintained test systems and jigs for entire department. Traveled to install, repair, and maintain products and systems at customer sites worldwide. Key Achievements• Set and maintained the record for most revenue generated in a single month. • Several customers in the US military and large defense contractors would put wording in to troubleshooting tickets and RMAs to request me by name and employee number. • Was promoted into sales and marketing role as a result of a customer request that I install and set up their system and be present for all system qualification testing.

Supported, repaired, and maintained a network of over 2,000 uninterruptible power supplies for a major contract in the telecom market. Traveled throughout the region and country to support other teams for large installations or natural disasters. Key Achievements• Achieved 5-nines uptime throughout my employment. • Took over an installation project that was running 1 month behind schedule. We ended up completing the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule resulting in the company earning a bonus payment. • Chosen to field test and install new product line for major account.

Maintained, repaired, and deployed ground surveillance and target acquisition radars in support of mission objectives. Trained radar crew in deployment, maintenance, and tactics related to radar, anti-intrusion, and surveillance systems. Key Achievements• Developed the Garrison Standard Operating Procedure (GARSOP) for a company sized, forward deployed, unit. • Placed in charge of maintenance and repair of all counter-battery radar assets for a division sized unit forward deployed against a hostile enemy under ceasefire conditions. • Assigned to attend several diplomatic functions for foreign militaries in their home countries.
