Tasked with establishing all business-related operations. * Operations increased from zero employees to fifty-three and from $0 revenues to $5.2 million (annualized). Facility has expanded three times to over 21,000 square feet.* Directly responsible for all business operations including financial, legal, human resources, customer service, fulfillment, and vendor relations.* Selected and implemented billing systems, communication systems, and payroll & benefit providers.* Drafted legal documentation for establishment and incorporation of new business entities as well as vendor contracts, business agreements, and employment agreements.* Served as Corporate Secretary for Board and Shareholder meetings and regularly met with current and potential investors

* Initially sought out by management of predecessor entity Midwest Institute for Medical Education, Inc. in 2005 to establish operations and processes; then directed transition after acquisition by ASCP in February, 2006.* Operated a 10 person division in Indianapolis responsible for just-in-time delivery of educational programs to more than 2000 laboratories throughout the United States and internationally, accounting for over $2.8 million of revenue.* Managed 10 additional staff based in Chicago responsible for creation and delivery of diverse educational products, accounting for an additional $2.0 million of revenue. * Company-wide, reduction-in-force resulted in being downsized from this Chicago-based world-wide provider of education, certification, and advocacy for pathologists and laboratory professionals.

* Retained as first Director of Operations to manage all business and legal matters for this Indianapolis-based human capital consulting firm, including contracts, intellectual property rights, vendor relations, bookkeeping, and coordination of online assessments.* Streamlined production time of assessment materials by more than 33% while implementing standardized bookkeeping processes.

* Formed business to initiate and pursue the acquisition of Renaissance, Inc., a $10 million revenue trust administration company (see below). Devised and presented financial forecasts, budgets, and business plans and successfully secured financing from multiple investor groups. Ultimately lost bid to another party.

* Recruited by management to rejoin the company as its first Corporate Counsel, responsible for all corporate legal duties and initiatives, including contracts, employment issues, intellectual property rights, risk management, litigation, and the establishment of a nonprofit business.* Advised executive management on all aspects of the operations of the company, including strategic planning, financial budgeting, marketing programs, and corporate record retention.* Served as corporate secretary, drafting board and shareholder resolutions and minutes, maintaining corporate records, and communicating with the board and shareholders.* Directed the operations of a 10 person department responsible for ensuring the compliance of trusts to be administered, increasing per capita work-product by more than 25%.
