These taxable parcels have an aggregate fair market value in excess of $80 billion. This digest allows local governments and school boards in Fulton County to collect approximately $1.17 billion of property taxes annually. The Residential Division processes all divisions (splits) and assemblages (combinations) of residential real estate, performs the measurement, listing, and valuation of all new construction, additions, modifications, and deletions of/to all residential real estate improvements, as well as the revaluation of all residential property on an annual basis. Handles valuation defense of all residential properties through appeals filed to the Board of Assessors, the Boards of Equalization, and Superior Court.
