I had the pleasure of working up at the end of the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" (so named by Mark Twain) driving up to the 3,500 foot Ko'kee State Park everyday on Kauai's west side to work with a group of seasoned Radar and Telemetry veterans. The Pacific Missile Range "Barking Sands" is the most instrumented facility in the world, and keeping it going is a full time job for a bunch of dedicated people. Besides supporting our US Navy customer with a playground for their fleet exercises we support all types of other programs including space launches for satellites with the University of Hawaii to low earth orbit, scientific research programs and systems that will defend our nation and NATO allies against threats from land, sea and air. I have worked on the Western Test Range (WTR), and Eastern Test Range (ETR)and the Pacific Range is the most active one in the world.

Managed the Makaha Ridge and Kokee Radar and Telemetry stations as an Measurements Systems Manager for the Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands.
