Started at Klep Corporation as a detailer and designerfor Machine Tool Design. Continued in Machine Tool Design until 1990achieving positions of; senior designer, checker and project leader. In 1990started and managed the Product Design Group which included theresponsibilities of; daily operation, recruiting, hiring and overseeing employees,program management and customer interaction. Opened a new designoffice in 1996 located in Redford, MI to support a local customer and wasresponsible for all activities relating to the start-up, operation of the facilityand programs. Programs under my direction included; Product Design andEngineering, Contract and Direct Hire Recruiting and Staffing, Assemblyand Test Machine Design, and Imaging and Scanning.Promoted to General Manager in 1998 responsible for the operations of twoof the three engineering offices located in Redford, MI and Harrisville, MI.Responsible for achieving ISO 9000-2001 certification for the two offices;and was the company Manager Representative.
