Pipeline Integrity Coordinator
Corpus Christi, Texas
I began my career working internally with the construction and maintenance division in San Antonio, Tx. In 1984 I transferred to the Corpus Christi, TX pipeline operations group. There I worked with the day to day activities involving compression, line locating, pigging, filtration, separation and product measurement. In 1990 I transferred to the corrosion / leak detection group working with cathodic protection systems and leak detection activities statewide in Texas. In 1996 I began assisting our engineering group with experimental "smart" tools. I worked to develop internal pipeline cleaning methods, chemical and mechanical pigging. I worked to design and implement new and safer pigging facilities throughout the company. My field operating area encompassed Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. I oversaw a substantial inspection group providing direction and mentoring. Over my many years with Enterprise I completed thousands of assessment miles utilizing the newest technologies. I oversaw large hydro test projects to include nitrogen and gas testing. I had also charge over AGM survey, pig tracking, anomaly excavations and final repairs. After + 34 years on April 11, 2016 I retired from Enterprise Products Operating to begin my own enterprise, Absolute Pipeline Integrity.
