Developing embedded software/hardware solutions for custom applications.

Evaluated electronic components that control and measure air pressure to be used in biomedical applications. Programmed ATmega and ESP devices using PWM, SPI, and ADC to interface to the electronic components. Created a GUI using MATLAB to control the embedded devices via UART. Created a complete solution from blank PCB, to debug, to final working product.

Test bench and test development in SV/UVM for IP and full SoC.

Work with customers to help resolve RTL simulation, synthesis, and STA issues encountered while implementing Cadence DDR controller IP.

ATPG: DRC dispositioning, pattern validation, fault accounting, model building. Synthesis/scan stitching: Provide inputs to physical design for scan stitching, work to resolve synthesis issues affecting DFT. Static timing analysis: Provide constraints to physical design team, disposition timing violations, integrate timing information into ATPG runs. Work with logic team to resolve RTL issues affecting ATPG. Work with library and IP teams to resolve modeling issues. Write scripts to automate pattern generation, fault reporting, and Verilog model building.

Worked with customers to create test hardware and software for network processing devices with a focus on various high speed digital interface protocols including SerDes and DDR.

Validate, debug, and characterize new and production semiconductor devices used in communication applications.

Performed failure analysis on SRAMs and ASICs. Handled customer returns as well as fab yield issues. Also responsible for maintaining beam equipment.
