I am an MSc degree graduate with 34 plus year’s oil and gas experience, both in the Operator and Service Sectors. My current role is the Operations Automation Lead for Stena Drilling. Starting late May 2023 following a 2 1/2 year retirement forced by redundancy.Prior to my redundancy in December 2020 my role was supporting the bp Upstream technology Wells (drilling) Automation global initiatives. My historical sector specialties are; Wells real-time data and collaboration delivery Testing and delivery of new Drilling Technology Supplier Management (Supply chain, tendering, and performance management). Project Management / Directional Drilling and MWD/LWD services. A highly self-motivated individual and excellent team player with experience in managing projects and multi-disciplined teams. With a proven track record of building high performing teams in remote locations and improving supplier performance. An exemplary safety leader with numerous personal safety awards and testimonies including being awarded Presidents Award for outstanding safety leadership twice, April 2012 and April 2008 (Baku, Azerbaijan) Previously serving over 19 years in the supplier sector, involved with the highest end MWD/LWD and directional drilling services on and offshore. I was intimately involved with the introduction and enhancement of numerous technologies for drilling and MWD services in this time.
