I am a registered architect and Senior Associate at DesignInc Darwin. At the start of 2024, I relocated with my family to the Northern Territory to lead DesignInc's new Darwin studio. Prior to this I was a team member at DesignInc Adelaide since 2010. With 14 years of industry experience, my primary focus is working on large and technically complex projects within the defence sector. My varied project experiences include entire base redevelopments, industrial facilities, workshops, hangars, secure working accommodation and training facilities. I have an in-depth understanding of defence standards, policies and procedures and value the importance of clear and timely communication. I work on projects in all phases and embrace the diverse challenges they face, from the big-picture constraints and opportunities in the master planning phases to the fine-grained technical requirements of the construction phase. Finding innovative and practical solutions to complex problems is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. I enjoy the technical challenges of delivering large, complex projects that balance performance, functionality, and budget to achieve flexible and enduring project outcomes.
