With over three decades of corporate and legal experience, I serve as the EVP, general counsel and corporate secretary at Calix, a global broadband platform provider of managed systems and services for broadband access networks. I hold a JD in International Law from the University of Notre Dame Law School, studied and taught International Relations and Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia, and earned an AB in International Relations, Economics and Politics from Stanford University.I oversee all legal, compliance, and corporate affairs for Calix, providing strategic guidance and support to the board of directors and executive leadership team on a variety of legal matters, including commercial and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, ethics and human rights, market access, and risk management. I lead a high-performing team of legal and compliance professionals who share my passion for promoting and protecting the business, delivering under pressure, and fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and trust. I also specialize in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection and privacy, enterprise and third-party software, intellectual property, international law, M&A, and public sector procurement, leveraging my knowledge and experience in these domains to enable Calix to achieve its vision of transforming the way the world connects.
