Built the organizational framework of a newly founded retail tech start-up. Managed the merger of three markets into one while supervising a workforce of more than 20 fleet workers, including operations managers, drivers, and personal shoppers. Collaborated directly with COO to develop marketing initiatives aimed to improve logistics and market inefficiencies. Controlled the US operation’s operating budget and fully orchestrated P&L reporting.

Relocated back home to join a startup online marketplace for children’s & baby products, including strollers, toys, home & nursery, infant gear, and sports & outdoor equipment. Oversee all aspects of a TX region that includes 3 e-commerce fulfillment centers (with 5 more scheduled to launch in 2021) including sales, staffing, fulfillment, operations, and much more. Built a talented team that includes 2 managers, 10 outside sales professionals, and 13 warehouse employees.

North Shore Exchange is Glencoe and Chicago's nonprofit resale boutique offering an edited collection of upscale and luxury designer women's clothing and accessories, as well as beautiful furniture and home décor. All of our profits support organizations providing human services for children and families at or below the poverty level, as well as our own Family Service of Glencoe. Since opening in March 2013, we have given away $1,000,000 in funds to well-deserving charities.

Promoted to turn around one of the most challenging stores in the entire company after previous success in a St. Louis store; this Chicago flagship location, which was struggling with declining sales and morale prior to arrival, was historically regarded as the most difficult employee relations store in the company outside of the New York flagship. Fully accountable for every aspect of the business including sales, P&L, operations, talent management, collective bargaining & union grievances, and community relations. Developed and led a talented and dedicated team consisting of 6 senior-level executives and 20 front-line managers.

Promoted to take over a sleepy, suburban store that had grown stagnant in recent years under the leadership of a long-term general manager who was at the helm for 19 years. This was an older building that was in desperate need of new leadership, new ideas, and modernization. Developed a talented, motivated, and committed team of 3 executives and 6 department managers and achieved considerable success in every aspect of the business.
