I'm thrilled to be helping lead the design and implementation of The Vol Edge, a campus-wide career readiness program built to help all UT students get experience, build their skill set and network, and learn to tell their story to employers and grad schools. An exciting project and incredible partners!

As Academic & Professional Development Manager, I oversaw career readiness and advisement efforts for all of the language and translation/localization programs at BYU. I worked one-on-one with students to help them make informed and intentional decisions about building the competencies, skills, and experience they needed to pursue their goals after BYU. I also collaborated closely with faculty, students, and administrators to meet the unique career readiness needs of our students and to create a culture of career readiness in the college. - Built partnerships with faculty/administrators across 16 academic programs to design career readiness learning experiences for 700+ students- Conducted consultations with corporate internship partners to scope needs and implemented complete redesign of the internship training program, leading to improved outcomes for partners- Successfully doubled average enrollment in internship program by making the program more accessible and designing training around key learner outcomes- Navigated internal political conflicts and designed learning experiences that met needs of competing stakeholder groups- Proactively identified problem areas for learners across programs and proposed solutions that led to improved academic and career readiness outcomes for students- Collaborated with key stakeholders to develop professional certification learning pathways to increase students’ career development- Supervised 3-7 intern teams each semester (15-30+ students), ensuring successful completion of project deliverables to clients- Proactively developed employer connections that led to new and increased internship and employment offers for students- Gathered and analyzed data to inform decision-making for internal and external stakeholders

As a project manager, I collaborated closely with internal and external stakeholders to help clients reach their goals and have successful localization experiences.- Applied project management best practices to successfully complete high-stakes projects for enterprise level clients- Consulted directly with clients to scope needs and design individualized project solutions, leading to successful project delivery and new business opportunities- Helped salvage key client relationships through active communication and willingness to put in long hours to solve problems- Trained clients and linguists on use of proprietary cloud-based translation management system
