I am passionate about bringing new technology to the world of medicine. I have been fortunate to spend my career doing things I love: leading product teams, talking to customers and figuring out complex problems. My main expertise is in general management in the Life Sciences - particularly helping companies in challenging situations make tough decisions.More recently, I've been involved in helping boards exit or restructure businesses as a consultant. I have brought value by stepping into dynamic situations, quickly identifying the key issues and rapidly executing a sound plan. My style is action-oriented, accountable, collaborative, technically diligent and customer-focused. I have worked in medical device innovation from product concept through commercialization. As a result, I have a hands-on understanding of what it takes to create new products in the complex, highly regulated world of medical technology.My experience is varied and cross-functional. In my most recent position at Maruho Medical, I reported to a Japanese Board of Directors and replaced the C-Suite almost immediately - managing the functions directly. Previously, as full-time CEO of CardioGard, I managed a Board of Directors and relations with the NIH as well as day-to-day operations in the US and Israel. During my time at Medtronic, I managed a 60 person team as the RESOLUTE Program Director. I was successful in getting a $1B revenue stent product through the CE Mark process and into a US pivotal clinical trial.
