Doug is a results and people-oriented manager with over 25 years’ experience in meeting sales and business development goals with focus on relationship based consultative and solutions selling through strategic planning, product development, business planning, and customer relations at the C, Senior IT, and Business Management level. Doug graduated from Union College where he was Captain of the Swim team and played Lacrosse. After college, he continued his involvement in these two sports coaching at the youth and high school levels in Connecticut and Texas. Doug has three sons (Doug Jr., Henry, and Puck), who were highly successful student athletes that graduated from the New Canaan high school program and have gone on to play collegiate athletics. During his involvement in these sports Doug has built a strong network of coaches at the college and club level and a continuing dialogue with recent athletes currently playing in college or who have recently graduated. Doug’s primary focus will be on the Athletic Recruitment arm of the business.Doug has been involved in community based organizations including the Parks and Recreation Commission, New Canaan Lacrosse Board and Country Club of New Canaan Membership Committee. As well, organized a Youth Sports Council and brought Positive Coaching Alliance to New Canaan.
