Oversight of the Drilling Operations to ensure compliance to the well program, maintenance schedules and the Business Management System, including managing Maintenance Plans in accordance with the operation and budget.Ensuring high performance in safety by compliance to the Business Management System Policies and Procedures.All aspects of the well planning in collaboration with the Client including drilling operations, rig moving and management of personnel.Implementation and compliance to WDI and the Client's Well Control Standards.Ensuring adherence to policy for equipment acquisition, preventative maintenance schedules and the reporting of maintenance and inspection of the equipment.Financial planning for repairs and maintenance, major overhauls of equipment as per OEM schedules and review of financial performance with Senior Personnel.Ensure timely invoicing of recharges including preparation of supporting documentation and verification of contractual compliance.Preparation of tenders for future work.Maintaining a schedule of regular site visits to review planning and performance, including unplanned site visits to assist with problem resolution as required.Ensuring training requirements and standards are maintained including development of senior personnel to prepare them for advancement. Providing high quality feedback to Senior Personnel to facilitate efficient development.Participation in safety stand downs and one on one discussion with individual crew members to receive feedback on what to improve on and what to keep doing.Continuous sharing of approved lessons learnt to other relevant operations.Provide deliberate leadership in ownership, discipline, performance and accountability. Ensuring all personnel use the behavior based safety reporting system and follow up own reports.Continuous review and approval of operation specific procedures.
