PLP is a third party logistics company, providing domestic shipping solutions primarily for less-than-truckload (LTL) needs of our customers. We work to simplify and streamline many of the internal logistics processes that bog down manufacturers and distributors, while at the same time reducing their overall shipping costs. We are able to accomplish this through our industry expertise, our web-based proprietary software, our negotiating power and our relational approach to our customers.

Active Georgia CPA - this practice primarily focuses on helping start-up businesses from the pre-launch stage (evaluation of the idea as to its market-worthiness, including analytics) through roughly the first year of operations. Services include: 1. Development of a formal Business Plan and sub-components of detailed budgeting, personnel requirements, marketing planning, entity choice and formation, funding options, and a detailed strategic plan down to specific action steps and tactics as needed. 2. Biz Launch also can help small businesses analyze the advisability of expansion, be it new locations, new products or personnel. 3. I assumed this part-time role in addition to my CPA practice with BizLaunch Now, LLC in March of 2009. Johns Creek is the 10th largest city in Georgia and was born just over 5 years ago. Moved dealership closer to automotive model (dominated by service, parts and collision depts, known as Fixed Ops - FO) and improved from net FO loss (with -0- allocated overhead) in 2006, to net profit in 2007 (including corporate overhead). Improvement equivalent to $1.5 million positive impact on year-to-year bottom line. 2. Financial Analysis - Revenue and cash flow trending and forecasting; margin analysis to ascertain optimal mix; inventory turnover, aging, product line analysis and optimization of purchase priorities – reduced average inventory age by 30% and increased inventory turnover by 25% ; annual cost control analyses which in late 2006 and 2007 resulted in reductions in indirect and overhead costs of 30% and 15%. 3.
