Revolution Design provide design and drawing expertise to INCAT Tasmania for the production of their world leading passenger ferries and RoPax ferries. I was responsible for the production of complex 3D structural models and detailed drawings to be issued for shipyard fabrication.Multiple vessels were being built at any one time thus requiring a degree of coordination of design requirements for the shipyard build programs.I was responsible for the co-ordination of a up to 30 draftspersons. I set-up and monitored the build schedule as well as coordinating purchasing of major items for the vessel based on lead times and build schedule.Typically these projects would overlap each other resulting in two vessels being built concurrently though at different stages of construction and fitout.I collaborated with the clients, statutory authorities, surveyors, equipment suppliers on a regular basis, as well as providing weekly reports to the clients.
