Senior Program Specialist - Insurance
CurrentManage the day-to-day administrative operations of the NEA Members Insurance Trust (over $200 million in assets). Involved at all levels with the daily business relationship between NEA Member Benefits and insurance partners (Prudential Insurance Company of America and United American Insurance Company) as well as the Third-Party Administrator with regard to the NEA Members Insurance Trust. Responsible for and helps manage insurance partner applications, claims, customer service, technical and administrative activities. Works with the partners to ensure smooth administrative operations and guide product changes/enhancements so that they are implemented according to Plan and on time. Coordinates appropriate activities to support excellent customer service and communication with members.Manages interactions with members, groups, partners, and affiliates to define/refine product needs and explain or introduce changes/enhancements to the NEA Members Insurance Trust Plans. Responsible for the Customer Service process with respect to the Program. Communicates and resolves issues elevated by Affiliate Relations, Member Services, and other referrals with the partners, suppliers, consultants, and vendors.
