I am positive, mature and professional, with proven leadership and management qualities both at a functional and strategic level. Several types of psychometric assessment identified that my qualities included being well organized, decisive and possessing strengths in managing projects, operations and change. Those strengths were confirmed during a one week Leadership Development Program (LDP) at the Mt Eliza Centre for Professional Education (Melbourne) in April 2006. Over 40 years of operational experience has developed my ability to perform well under pressure, to multi-task and to communicate effectively on an inter-personal and wider level. During the period 2002-2005, I was responsible for the Human Resource Management function of St John in Otago & Southland, which gave me a broad understanding of our organizational culture as well as the opportunity to work across all parts of the organization. I then went on to become the Regional Operations Manager between 2005-2011 until the two St John South Island Regions merged.My current career objective is to lead and manage a top performing operational territory by fostering an innovative, supportive, achievement-focused team culture which meets the needs of the organisation, individuals, customers and stakeholders.
