Doug began his working career in 1999 after earning his B. Comm from the University of Saskatchewan. His career started in the agricultural sector where he worked directly with farmers and served as an agronomic advisor and sales representative. Due to his ability to relate directly to landowners, the transition to the energy sector was a seamless one. Doug began his career in the energy industry in 2006 and earned his land agents licence through Olds College. Over the past 15 years Doug has become an expert in Freehold Surface Acquisitions throughout the Prairie provinces. In addition to surface lease acquisition Doug has helped broker large land transactions for significant Thermal projects. He has experience in land acquisition for highways development and has worked on a variety of power projects. Doug has also acquired hundreds of mineral leases throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.
