Doug brings to his position over 25 years of Canadian and international income tax experience, during which he has provided many Japanese, Korean and US multinational corporations with Canadian domestic and cross-border tax compliance and advisory services in all aspects of corporate tax planning for clients from start-up to mature operating situations in a number of industries. Doug has also been directly involved in numerous transfer pricing projects, and has advised and assisted many of his clients to defend their transfer prices in the course of tax authority audits. His background includes exposure to a broad range of industries, including distribution and manufacturing operations in the electronics, automotive and consumer products industries.Specialties: Doug is the senior tax advisor for KPMG Canada’s Japanese and Korean Practices, and has been a key member of the KPMG Canada’s Japanese and Korean Practices since 1987, and has assisted in developing these practices into the leading practices in Canada.
