Doug graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1995 and has been a civil trial lawyer since 1997. After working for a large civil litigation firm in Portland, Doug moved to Seattle and joined Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer in 1999. Over his 25+ year career, Doug has represented a wide variety of clients in complex litigation involving construction defect, products liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice. Doug has tried cases in Washington and Oregon, in state and federal courts, and successfully argued cases before all three divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals. Doug has also arbitrated many cases, including property loss, personal injury, construction defect, and products liability claims. He has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (workplace injury) and the Department of Health (professional license defense). Doug is an avid runner, cyclist and hiker and enjoys traveling, cooking, and soccer.
