As a principal owner of RBF Consulting, Doug facilitated all aspects of preparing the transition of the RBF Information Systems Services department to Michael Baker International. This included complete documentation of all IT assets, contracts and personnel while familiarizing the CIO of Michael Baker International with RBF's entire IT infrastructure for all RBF's Engineering, Finance and HR departments. Together with the CIO from Michael Baker International, Doug designed the transition of operations, the merging of software assets and contracts and the integration of the RBF wide area network with Michael Baker International. This work was done maintaining complete confidentiality among RBF staff to ensure no staff knew of the corporate purchase prematurely. Once the sale was made public, Doug coached staff to facilitate their transition into the Michael Baker International management structure and provided extensive training to speed the adoption of the new procedures and software. Doug worked closely with the Finance and HR departments to help migrate Financial and HR data into the Michael Baker systems. -
