Doug started his career at the Musicland Group Inc (Sam Goody) as a Sales Associate and worked his way up to Chief Business Development Officer before breaking off to start his own agency in 1981. For 28 years, Doug has worked passionately to build CPC Intersect into a nationally-acclaimed experience marketing agency that has seen double digit growth for 10 straight years.Doug is the kind of person that feels equally comfortable surrounded by 100,000 people at an international event or navigating the Boundary Waters Wilderness with a canoe and tent. He is a noted advocate of balance between business and personal lives and he sets an example by bringing great passion to his work while also being a dedicated family man (which includes his energetic dog Thurston, who is always by his side). Doug also has a great love for music, which he demonstrates by burning out an iPod about once a year.
