Provided credit risk oversight to Bank's $10 billion unsecured money-market investment portfolio, a $15 billion investment portfolio mainly composed of agency and private-label MBS, GSE debentures and state housing finance bonds, and a derivatives portfolio. Compliance advisor to business lines on credit risk exposure, reviewing credit limit.

As a result of Credit Department reorganization, position changed to a credit risk oversight role of the Bank's invesment, derivative and unsecured portfolios. Reviewed and opined on business line procedures, recommendations and credit reviews. Administered the Bank's trading platform to ensure credit limits fell within regulatory and Bank policy.

Produced written and oral credit analysis on a diverse group of foreign and domestic financial institutions that were unsecured money-market counterparties of the Bank. Recommended appropriate credit facilities and credit limits for new and existing counterparties. Identified credit risk of new and existing investment securities. Developed and maintained.

Performed financial analysis on a caseload of member institutions and recommended a credit line and collateral arrangement for the member based on analysis conclusions. Performed on-site collateral audits to ensure all borrowings were collateralized with eligible collateral. Corresponded with banking regulators if any deterioration in financial condition.

Managed the Bank’s funding desk and acted as primary contact for members who wished to borrow from the Bank. Required full knowledge of the Bank’s product line offerings and strong communication skills in order to provide informed funding recommendations to members. Duties later were expanded to assist with on-site collateral audits.

Managed the collateral physically delivered to the Bank by a caseload of member institutions. Verified collateral eligibility and ensured loans granted by the Bank to the member were fully collateralized at all times.
