Currently spending approximately a million hours per week on integration for the Fox acquisition, which has been an exciting challenge. The Walt Disney Company's global reach is further enhanced by its extensive portfolio of domain names. I provide not only day-to-day operations for the corporate business segment, I also oversee and support the work of segment contacts in other businesses; provide user education, and ensure that activities flow through approved channels. Spanning the worlds of tech and business I work with teams preparing new products and campaigns to brainstorm their domain name coverage for both primary sites and defensive registrations. I lead overall domain name strategy and budgeting, improve the security of our tools, reduce costs, and work with the TWDC Legal department on compliance issues; all while overseeing or personally managing dozens of projects.At ICANN I was the General Manager for the IANA department, and was responsible for all aspects of its operation. Including budget, staffing, staff development, reporting, and relationships with IANA's stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. I also participated in strategic development for the organization as a member of the senior management team.As a Migration Architect at BlueCat I did design and implementation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems for some of our largest customers, including multinational Fortune 100s; as well as implementations of systems from two servers to hundreds.At Yahoo! I helped design, implement, and maintain the customer fulfillment systems that provided registrar service (including DNS) for over 500,000 customers. I managed the name servers and domain name portfolio for all of Yahoo!'s corporate domains, and handled resolving DNS and DHCP services for the corporate offices.
