CurrentPart of an innovation team that is currently designing, building, and transforming a set of modern microservices based platforms and distributed systems in a hybrid cloud environment. These platforms and systems connect well over one hundred thousand devices in near time to help clinicians make informed decisions. Ingesting hundreds of thousands of visits daily, we process, analyze, and communicate bi-directionally vast amounts of data across the continuum of the patient.Examples of projects that I've driven include:- An IdentityServer4-based (OIDC and OAuth2) authentication/authorization platform with custom grant types including leveraging Kerberos authentication, running on Kubernetes on Linux. The platform also supports integration to external identity providers using SAML and Open ID Connect, and can act as both SP and IdP in both methods.- An Active Directory caching system to dramatically speed up accessing user and group metadata from Active Directory that will soon leverage an Azure Cosmos DB document database as its persistence layer. Our Active Directory domains contain well over 400,000 users and groups.- Designed and implemented a distributed notification platform running on Kubernetes and using Kafka for the notification event processing. Able to handle over 10,000 SMS notifications per hour via Azure Communication Service. It efficiently manages a 300K connection pool for sending push notifications to Android devices. Can process well over 10,000 connection registration events per second with background registration to Azure Notification Hubs. Will soon offer email and SignalR delivery methods, with any given notification being able to be sent via one, several, or all delivery methods, to one or more individual recipients or automatically looking up recipients from role-based membership.- Work on various .NET Core microservices running on Kubernetes
