Design and support all of Weatherford's Cisco Voice over IP systems for the entire company. My main duties are the US region but I setup and provide backup support for EU, SA, and UAE clusters. Currently supporting 100+ remote locations and over 5000+ phones in the US cluster.Domain Leader directly responsible for supporting Cisco VoIP for North America.• Working/Install knowledge of CUCM 4.X, 6.X and 7.1.2• Working/Install knowledge of UCCX(CRS) 4.X 6.X and 7.X• Working knowledge of Unity (Windows version) 4.X 5.X• Working knowledge of Unity Connection 7.1• Working knowledge of T1,E1,ISDN, R2, and system ties using E1’s,T1’s• Develop Templates for H323, MGCP, SIP Gateway, and Cisco CUBE configs for other Administrators.• Develop Router and Switch configs for LAN/WAN team members. • Develop and maintain telephone system records and documentation.• Develop administration processes and procedures.• Develop global Dial-Plan and Toll-By-Pass plan for multi-cluster to appear a one system.• Monitor all VOIP system for potential problem and system errors across multi-clusters• Provide support to end users and other system administrators.• Cross-train other support personnel for backup IP Telephony administrators.• Procure evaluation units of hardware, software, and services to prototype architectural components.• Develop upgrade/installation projects in to a turn key install.• Work with appropriate personnel to develop policies and procedures to insure proper procurement and servicing of wide area network and voice components.• Understanding of routing and switching concepts such as MPLS, Frame Forwarding and Tagging, DOT1Q and ISL Trunking, VLAN, Cisco VTP.• Advanced experience with problem resolution involving third-party carriers and vendors.• Proficiency in system development methodology and technical/user documentation Currently working with Sip carrier trunking in multi-site large deployments using centralized Cisco CUBE's to save millions.

Tech II The purpose of this position is to install service and maintain communications network transmission systems, including digital cross connect, digital loop carrier, channel banks, SONET equipment, digital switching and ancillary support systems. Performs technical field activity as it pertains to installation, maintenance and repair in the city network. • Perform installation, turn-up and testing of network transmission systems which include, but are not limited to SONET multiplex, Digital Cross-Connect Systems, channel banks, digital loop carrier, smart jacks, synchronization equipment, video and data communications equipment. This activity will be conducted at Central Office Locations, POP’s, LSO’s and customer premise locations. • Perform installations, and testing of private line and switch line services T-3 (DS-3), T-1 (DS-1), DS-0, PRI, and switch business lines and trunks. • Responsible for working stand-by as it relates to after-hours maintenance or repair issues. • Night and weekend work for network activity is required. • Interface with customers to resolve installation problems relative to space and power requirements. • Resolve technical circuit problems on DS3, DS1 and DS0 circuits and all supporting equipment. • Perform fiber optic splice activity pertaining to network optimization or new customer turn-up. • Develop and utilize operations and maintenance procedures of network transmission systems equipment. • Maintain network equipment; responsible for troubleshooting and correcting network transmission equipment problem, deficiencies, and system issues using network transmission equipment. • Develop and maintain OTDR test procedures for the troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber transmission facilities. • Access and utilize existing operational systems such as Remedy, Accugraph, etc. when reviewing circuit layout records, work orders and other tools to support provisioning and maintenance activities.
